Biography
“Go with the flow” is the motto here. Whether the crisp alto or smoky tenor saxophone is used depends on the particular musical style and atmosphere.
But one thing is for sure: By the claim to capture the moment and to let the incredible energy of the people flow into the music, every event becomes an individual experience. Concert performances at festivals, corporate events, weddings, balls, vernissages or private parties are part of their versatile musicianship, where a good mood is guaranteed. The musical repertoire ranges from groovy pop songs to electronic sound and smooth lounge music. A symbiosis of authenticity, power, flexibility, joy of improvisation and the right feeling for the moment are appreciated in the versatile saxophonist.
Already at the age of 10, it became apparent that the saxophone was literally good in her hand. While studying musicology, she thus played in various ensembles, symphony orchestras and award-winning big bands.
Over the years, collaborations with drummer Ralph Rolle (Chic, Lady Gaga, Nile Rodgers, Prince.), techno pioneer Jimi-Tenor, Klaus Doldinger’s bassist Wolfgang Schmid, Oliver Rubow (drummer of the Fantastischen Vier) or Nippy Noya (percussionist of the Kelly Family, Herbert Grönemeyer) followed.
Many collaborations ultimately resulted in record productions and TV appearances. In the course of time, she has also increasingly devoted herself to soul and hip-hop, which have also resulted in various productions with German hip-hop legends, producers and DJs.
Whether performing in the homey feel-good atmosphere of smaller clubs, supporting GZA (Wu-Tang Clan) or Tom Gregory, all the way to Munich’s sprawling Olympic Stadium, the message remains the same: “Music is my energy, my language, my passion.”
